[Maine-birds] Re: Thrush ID help

Hard to tell 100% from pictures, but I'd go with Hermit Thrush with the red tail, eye-ring, and kind of chubby in appearance.  An Ovenbird would have pink legs, olive-brown back, no red on tail, and the tail is usually cocked upward.  Bicknell's has longer looking tail and no eye-ring.

Hello,

I need some ID help with this Thrush.   It was in Acadia at the Precipice Trail lot.   It looked like a large sparrow in size and seemed smaller than a Hermit Thrush.  I thought it was a Bicknells, but was hoping for some ID help.

Best regards,
