Hi
This morning I scoped the ocean ledges off Port Clyde's Marshall Point. A light-phase rough-legged was perched on Hart Island. Other rough-legs are being seen on similar grassy islands around Muscongus Bay. According to my long-time birding friend Mark Libby, who fished commercially in those bay areas, fishermen sometimes referred to these as "island hawks."
