My observations of note over the past seven days included:
- Wharton Point, Brunswick, 4/14 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group):
1 continuing female REDHEAD
1 continuing immature SNOW GOOSE
3 male NORTHERN SHOVELERS

- 4 Blue-winged Teal and 15 Wilson's Snipe, Highland Road, Brunswick, 4/14 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- Mouth of the Abagadassett River, Bowdoinham, 4/15 (with Marion Sprague):

800 American Black Ducks
100 Mallards
# Mallard x American Black Duck hybrids
206 Green-winged Teal
7 Northern Pintails
5 Ring-necked Ducks
2 Common Mergansers
1 pair American Wigeon
- continuing immature SNOW GOOSE and 4 male NORTHERN SHOVELERS, Wharton Point,4/17.
- 1 drake Gadwall and 3 Blue-winged Teal, Highland Road, 4/17.
- 11 Brant, Biddeford Pool, 4/20.
- 1 Fish Crow, migrant over the store's yard, 4/20 - our 120th "Yard Bird!"
And my personal FOYs this week were as follows:
- 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, Highland Road, Brunswick, 4/15 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Auburn Riverwalk, 4/15 (with Marion Sprague).
- 1 Chipping Sparrow, feeders here at the store, 4/18.
- 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, our yard in Pownal, 4/19.
- 13 Black-crowned Night-Herons, Great Pond, Biddeford Pool, 4/20.
