I travel by there every day. I saw one sitting there last week. I felt so bad I wanted to cry. I wish we could build them a nest. His expression was one of sadness. I want to know if they don't have a nest, will they nest somewhere else, either find another nest or will they nest in a tree? Will they try to rebuild their nest?

On 201, parallel to 295, there is also a more recent nest and the same day I saw the two osprey, I saw a single one on 201, all nests placed on the electric lines that run across the countryside here. I have read some of the controversy about removal of these lines and the impact on osprey. Does anyone know more?
