[Maine-birds] Essex St. Marsh & Saxl Park in Bangor

Species of interest at Essex St. late this afternoon:

Pied-billed Grebe - 4 (adult & 3 juveniles, seen earlier on 9/3;  only one of the juveniles is still keeping by the adult)
Great Egret – 1
Blue-winged Teal – 5
Least Flycatcher – 1 (appeared to be a late immature, in a weakened state on/near path on I-95 side, if anyone wants to try to capture it tomorrow...I couldn't get quite close enough)
Yellow-rumped Warbler – 2
Common Yellowthroat – 1

Also a late report for Saxl Park in Bangor 9/15:

House Wren – 1 (conspicuously perched and chattering)
Sharp-shinned Hawk – 1 (hunting, flying low)
Merlin – 1 (flyover)
White-throated Sparrow - 8
