[Maine-birds] Brownfield Bog Saturday with Tin Mountain

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I didn't get this up yesterday but I just wanted to give an update on what is going on at the Brownfield Bog these days.  Here is a list from the Tin Mountain walk on Saturday the 4th:

Harrier
Ring Necked Ducks
Red Winged Blackbirds
Common Mergansers
Hooded Mergansers
Black and White Warblers
Warbling Vireo
Yellow Throated Vireo
Northern Waterthrush (heard not seen)
Swamp Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Goldfinch
Least Flycatchers
Osprey (with trout)
Turkey Vultures
Great Blue Heron
Yellow Rumped Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Canada Geese
Wilson's Snipe
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher (I heard it but others in the group saw it)

The gate is open at the Bog, the trail is dry and the bugs are behaving, for now.

Happy Birding!
