[Maine-birds] FOY Blackburnian Warber, other fun stuff-Ducktrap River Preserve, Lincolnville

Spent this beautiful morning at Coastal Mountains Land Trust's Ducktrap River Preserve.

8 warblers total:
No. Parula-2
Black-throated Blue-2
Yellow-rumped-7+
Black-throated Green-3+
Blackburnian-1 obligingly singing in full view
Pine-4, including 1 obligingly feeding on the ground
Black-and-White-2
Ovenbird-1

Other highlights included a variety of raptors moving along/above the river corridor:
Osprey-1
Bald Eagle-1
Red-shouldered Hawk-1
Broad-winged Hawk-1
Red-tailed Hawk-1

Pileated Woodpecker-1
Belted Kingfisher-1
C. Raven-1
Hermit Thrush-2
Blue-headed Vireos galore (at least 6, I'm sure I undercounted)
Winter Wrens-5, a high count of  for this site (including 2 seemingly having a sing-off)
Purple Finch-2

Blackflies swarming in wet spots, but not biting yet. River very low for this time of year. Wildflowers seem a bit behind.

Get outside!
