[Maine-birds] Mt. Desert Island this morning: Am Bittern, Barred Owl, Swainson's Thrush

Hi all --

Birded Sieur de Monts Springs in Acadia first thing this morning with a buddy, and our list included audibles of Am. Bittern, Swamp Sparrow, Common Yellowthroat, Ovenbird, and others.

Visual pleasures included: a perching Barred Owl and great looks at a Swainson's Thrush.

Also caught a glimpse of the Townsend's Thrasher (Bill Townsend, that is, and Brown Thrasher for that matter) in residential Bar Harbor.
