[Maine-birds] Roque Is odds and ends

Hi folks,
 
I was out on Roque Island on Saturday and picked up the following birds.
 
On the water:
 
2 Black-legged kittiwakes - Flew over the island
12 Common eiders
22 Black guillemots
7 Great blue herons
2 Great cormorants
75 Double-crested cormorants
2 Greater yellowlegs
4 Semi sandpipers
12 Bonaparte's gulls
25 Ring-billed gulls
12  Great black-backed gulls
90 Herring gulls
1 Bald eagle - Adult
3 Gray seals
25 Harbor seals
 
On land
 
Birds were singing sporadically, especially magnolia warblers.  I was in red spruce woods for about two hours between noon and 2:00 and in a pasture for about 1/2 hour.  It started raining around 1:15.  which shut down bird song activity.
 
2 Common ravens
11 American crows
3 Swainson's thrushes
5 Magnolia warblers - All singing
1 Black-throated blue warbler - Singing
3 Yellow-rumped warblers - Singing
2 Black-throated green warblers - Singing
1 Blue-headed warbler - Singing
8 Dark-eyed juncos
2 White-throated sparrows
3 Golden-crowned kinglet
1 Boreal chickadee
2 American robins
1 Eastern phoebe
1 European starling
2 Song sparrows - One singing
1 Savannah sparrow - Singing
4 Red squirrels
16 Fairy houses
