[Maine-birds] blackbirds in Sidney

Early this a.m. I had a couple of big mixed flocks of blackbirds pass low over the house ~ 200+ birds. Later this a.m. another flock rested for a few minutes in the treetops next door--complete with blackbird cacophony. Also this a.m. 6 bluebirds, a phoebe (numbers have dwindled), a wt sparrow and a yr warbler. On the warm mornings earlier this week I had a song sparrow dawn chorus --nice of them to leave on that note :) Also had one more look at either "my" kestrel or another passing through on top of the Goodhue barn's weathervane. It had been at least a week between sightings.
