I saw the oddest thing this morning. far down in a field while driving to Rockport, I saw a large (about 20-30) group of Canada geese having a stand off with a large group of wild turkeys (maybe 15-20). There was about 30 feet between them and the two groups were facing each other. There were several male turkeys displaying but directly facing the geese. None of the birds seems to be looking at their own kind-it really looked like two "gangs" facing off.
Be still, and the world is bound to turn herself inside out to entertain you. Everywhere you look, joyful noise is clanging to drown out quiet desperation.
-- Has anyone ever seen such a thing?
It made me laugh out loud!
