[Maine-birds] Monhegan Island, 9/27-30

Hi all,

A bit belated, I know, but I finally finished my lists and notes from a four-day tour on Monhegan this past weekend, featuring the following highlights:

 

9/27: 

- 1 imm. Broad-winged Hawk

- 1 male House Sparrow

- 1 imm. Cooper's Hawk

- 1 Lark Sparrow

- 1 Clay-colored Sparrow

- 1 Dickcissel

- 1 Yellow-billed Cuckoo

- 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 

- 9 Cape May Warblers

 

9/28:

- 1 Blue Grosbeak

- 1 Lark Sparrow

- 2-3 Dickcissels

- 1 Nelson's Sparrow

- 2-3 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers

- 8 Rusty Blackbirds

 

9/29:

- 1 PAIR House Sparrows

- 1 Lark Sparrow

- 1 Clay-colored Sparrow

- 1 Yellow-billed Cuckoo

- 1 Prairie Warbler

 

9/30:

- 1 Lark Sparrow

- 1-2 Clay-colored Sparrows

- 2 ad Lesser Black-backed Gulls

- 1 Ring-billed Gull
