A winter-plumaged Wilson's Phalarope made a brief appearance at Stover Pt. Marsh this morning, joining a large group of GYLegs in a marsh pool for a short visit, then splitting for parts unknown. Checked back 2 h later for a hoped-for photo, but the place was busy with people and dogs, and the phalarope (and loafing peeps) were nowhere to be seen. Only 3 of 27 GYLegs remained.
Large number of Savannah Sparrows. --
