Re: [Maine-birds] Great Egret

I heard from a friend that there were 6 Great Egrets in the marsh in Wells, Mile Rd., York County, on Monday.

Subject: [Maine-birds] Great Egret

10-01-2013: In the bog at Essex Woods, Bangor, ME; while walking the trail in a work-related activity, at 2:23pm I spotted 2 Great Egrets (GREG) . They were in plain view on dead snags. One took flight, flew close, then sharply banked and circled away.

I felt like I was back in Florida! My non-birding co-worker was gob-smacked!
