RE: [Maine-birds] Sokokis snow goose

As a UNE affiliate(!!) I too have seen the snow goose all week-the Canadian geese there love to float to and fro under the fountains in the center of the ponds-one of the best sights on campus...come winter there is usually a sizable flock of snow buntings by the blue athletic field near the dorm and new athletic center...  Sharon in West K.

For those who aren't UNE affiliated (basically everyone, whoops) Sokokis is the new dorm on the south side of Pool St. Geese are in practice field south of the pond. Go in past Sokokis Hall, look to your right. Seem to be there all day, saw the goose at 6:15 pm yesterday. Don't mind people at all.
