[Maine-birds] A few more MDI goodies today

My family and some friends hiked Gorham Mountain, Acadia National Park, today, starting at the Beehive trailhead near Sand Beach, then along the Gorham Mountain ridge to the Park Loop Road. At that point, we walked along Ocean Path back to our car at Sand Beach.

Dickcissel. While picnicking atop Gorham Mountain, I heard the flight call of a Dickcissel and managed to all-too-briefly get my binoculars on it.

Glaucous Gull. While scanning the ubiquitous Herring and intermittent Great Black-backed Gulls along the ocean, I was surprised to see a very creamy colored gull with no dark primaries: a Glaucous Gull!
