[Maine-birds] Snowy Owl--Biddeford Pool Point

Hello,
Had a beautiful (but distant) Snowy Owl off the shores at Ocean Drive and 3rd Streets. Horrible photos reinforced my need for a digiscoping rig; someday!

My list:
Canada Goose  3
American Black Duck  2
Common Eider  15
Harlequin Duck  1
Common Goldeneye  3
Red-breasted Merganser  7
Common Loon  7
Horned Grebe  1
Double-crested Cormorant  3
Ruddy Turnstone  4     bright orange legs, breeding plumage
Herring Gull  15
Great Black-backed Gull  1
Snowy Owl  1     On the farthest long spit of land. Standing on the spit, to the left, directly in front of that offshore facility that's farther out.

Good birding,
Delia in Brunswick
