This morning, my wife Natalie Springuel and I walked the 3.3-mile Acadia National Park Carriage Road loop around Witch Hole Pond. It was a blustery outing with soaking rain. That did not seem to overly dampen the activity of 16 Hooded Mergansers. This may be a personal high count for Hoodies.
