I was surprised to find an immature male Common Yellowthroat loosely associating with a lingering Swamp Sparrow this morning in the marsh to the west side of the trestle at Unity Pond. The warbler may have blown in with the big southern system as I had not noted it until today. A continuing Winter Wren was also present. A big uptick in ducks was noted but nothing of note other than two White-winged Scoters with another unidentified scoter.
Good birding,
tom
