Today was on a barge from Rockland to Cow Island. Decided to do a personal survey of Common Eiders. Most of the trip saw only small groups of 4 to twenty nut just East of Cow Island had a flock of 6 to 700 birds . Been a long time seen that many in one flock .

50 Black Guillemots
110 Surf Scoters
1 Eagle
30 Bonaparte's Gulls
20 Red-breasted Mergansers
Skip Small
