[Maine-birds] Northern Maine Birds: Snowy Owl in summer

I know its not summer on the calendar yet, but... close enough for me.

Sarah Landry alerted me to a lingering Snowy Owl up in St Agatha today, so I took a ride north in the afternoon and easily found the bird perched on a utlility pole close to the road.  A couple Tree Swallows were on the wire just down from it! ....Crazy.

My first ever June.  Here's my list with some pics.:

Celebrated with all-you-can-eat wings at the Lakeview.

Northern Maine Bird Festival this Saturday at the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge in Limestone.  Hope to see you there. https://sites.google.com/site/aroostookbirders/
