This morning's High Tide wasn't very high (7.7') but it was worth scanning and listening for sharptails anyway. One non-singing Saltmarsh Sparrow over near Campbell I., but I neither saw nor heard any Nelson's Sparrows.
3 Glossy Ibis foraging with 6 Snowy Egrets.
2 diff encounters w/ E. Bluebirds: a pair in a courtship flight I suppose flew off the marsh fluttering their wings and lit on the wire over my head. A third bird (male) flew over my head singing, and crossed the mouth of the Kennebec R. toward Georgetown, still singing.
No sign of the late Snowy Owl on either of the Sugarloaf Rocks.
