Subject: [Maine-birds] World Shorebirds Day, 6 Sept
It would be wonderful if Maine birders who were out looking at and counting shorebirds this weekend would register their site and upload their counts as part of World Shorebird Day. (But don't duplicate someone else's site.)
So far over 750 sites around the world have registered. Counts anytime from 12:01 a.m. Friday, 5 September to 11:59 pm tonight, Sunday, 7 Sept. are valid. Participants have ranged from very young children to the Minister of the Environment of Chile.
