[Maine-birds] hummingbirds

I remember years ago coming on the ferry (the Bluenose!) from Yarmouth to Portland on Sept.9, seeing a hummingbird zoom by us! It may be that the local nesters leave, and then migrants appear from the North and stop for a feeding and rest.The locals were last seen here i Wells on 9/5/14. My feeder is still up for a few more days.
