[Maine-birds] Mt. Agamenticus

With favorable winds and a hope of caracara (not) I motored to the remote summit of Mt. A to assess the hawk movement.  There wasn’t much from 1230 to 3 pm, but I can report 4 Kestrel, a Sharpie.  Also present were a Raven, a Red-shoulder, and 8 Turkey Vultures playing follow the leader most of the time I was there.  I flushed a Horned Lark near the toilets (sic), and there were also Cedar Waxwings, Herring Gulls, BCChickadees, Goldfiniches, Chipping Sparrows(8), and a female Ruby Throated Hummer. Sunday looks like it may be a good hawk flight day.
