[Maine-birds] Nice Hour at Pine Point

I see now that Rob had a skimmer at Pine Point earlier this morning.
It was there between 11 AM and noon, as well, putting on a fine show for anyone who cared to watch. Many non-birders on the dock were amazed such a pretty thing could exist. Flying back and forth at eye level surveying; skimming for lunch; roosting ankle-deep in front of the sand bar.

also over there were:

2 Marbled Godwits
3 Hudsonian Godwits
1 Whimbrel
7 SBDowitchers.ETC.

...but no Oystercatchers. Of course.
