Over 500 Great black-backed gulls still at Popham today.
I counted them last Saturday along with 95 ring-billed gulls. It seems
like the same number are concentrated near the Morse River.
Small flocks of semi-palmated plovers and semi sandpipers.
Very, very windy. Most of the birds hunkered down.
I didn't luck out with any of the LBBG that Peter and Mike saw, but
it was still a beautiful day to be at the beach.
