[Maine-birds] Scarborough-Biddeford, 9/7 (21spp shorebirds!, FOTE, YCNH, LBBG, etc, etc)

Hi all,
Following Sandy Point, Kristen Lindquist and I enjoyed an exceptional day of birding in Scarborough Marsh and around Biddeford Pool, the highlights of which were:

- Eastern Rd Trail:
1 adult HENDERSONII Short-billed Dowitcher (late; photos).
4 juvenile STILT SANDPIPERS (photos).
1 presumed TRICOLORED HERON X SNOWY EGRET HYBRID
2 Peregrine Falcons
3 Whimbrels
1 Pectoral Sandpiper

- Biddeford Pool Beach:
1 juvenile WESTERN SANDPIPER (photos).
1 juvenile BAIRD'S SANDPIPER (photos).
2 ad. American Golden-Plovers.
2 juvenile (FOY) Dunlin

- 1 continuing juvenile YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (YCNH), South Point Preserve, Biddeford Pool.

- Hill's Beach, Biddeford:
6 first-winter FORSTER'S TERNS (FOTE).
1 juvenile BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER.
3 adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS (LBBG).
1 continuing family group American Oystercatchers (lots of photos).

- The Pool, Biddeford Pool:
12 Red Knots
6 Whimbrels

Other shorebird species:
Spotted Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Semipalmated Plover
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Short-billed Dowitcher
White-rumped Sandpiper
Ruddy Turnstone
Sanderling
Black-bellied Plover

(Shorebird missed: Killdeer, Hudsonian Godwit, Solitary Sandpiper).
