[Maine-birds] good birds around SoPo today

Greetings, birding friends! Thanks to a cancelled con call I had a little time to bird close to home today. The community garden plot at Hinckley Park was my first stop: got Song, Swamp, White-throated, White-crowned and Savannah sparrows + DE Junco within 2 minutes. At the Wainright Fields I had that same crew + Orange-crowned and Palm warblers and a brace of lingering Killdeer. (The OCWA was in the "ditch divider" on the south side of the 2nd field from the north end of the area.)

A fun surprise yesterday while hiking Burnt Meadow Mountain in Brownfield: a classic Evening Grosbeak "flight call flyover."

Peace & good birding,
Scott
