[Maine-birds] MDI hummer

Usually, I am the one to say that the advantage of my nature store’s location is being next to my favorite ice-cream shop, MDI Ice Cream. Today, they were thankful to be next door to me. A Ruby-throated Hummingbird was trapped inside, so I captured it and set it free.

Other interesting birds today: On a morning bird walk around the Mount Desert Island High School ponds, included: Wood Duck, Green-winged Teal, a lone Solitary Sandpiper, and a Sanderling.
