I spent the day with a landowner on Metinic for a possible MCHT project. Had some time to bird and was blown away by the numbers. Mostly common sparrows and yellow rumps galore, but I did find some noteworthy spp including a snowy owl on the south end, multiple Am. pipits in the meadows, an orange crowned warb, lark sparrow, clay colored sparrow, and pectoral sandpiper.
