[Maine-birds] Bohemian Waxwings in Bangor, 15 Jan

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I lucked into a big flock of Bohemian Waxwings on Kittredge Road in Bangor. I counted the group three times and arrived at or near 100 each time. They were very actively feeding in a tree in the yard of the last house on the right (if you're driving towards the City Forest). I watched them for 15 minutes before a raptor spooked them. I didn't see them return. Stunning birds!

There were also 5 Common Redpolls bouncing around nearby.

Good birding!
