[Maine-birds] Wood Duck

The male Wood Duck, found on Jan. 2, just above the dam in Skowhegan, continues to fraternize with the Mallards and Blacks (and one lost Canada Goose) as of this morning.  It seems to have weathered temps near -20° last week, with no ill effects.

Also, a male Pintail was with Mallards along Mesalonskee Stream in downtown Waterville on the 14th.  It was in the small section of open water along N. Riverside Dr.
