More signs of spring! This afternoon there were two Northern Pintails (drake and hen) in the Spurwink river, visible from the boat launch off of Rt 77. past Spurwink ave. Across the way at Jordan Farm there was a little open ground were a group of 70-80 Canada Geese were foraging along with two Killdeer. Heard them well before I got my binoculars on them. Also while I was down at the Spurwink river I could have sworn I heard some Killdeers there as well but I never saw them.
