From my sister who lives on the Thomaston peninsula to Pt. Clyde. (Think Monhegan boat.)
Sunday p.m. 3/29.
"I just saw a snowy owl on Grierson Rd in South Thomaston! It was in a field just before the Grierson Rd sign coming from south Thomaston. It caught our eye as it was flying in and then perched on the top of a bare tree."
Directions:
Coming out of the town of so thomaston go south on rt 73. Turn right on grierson rd. Head west on Grierson toward Dennison rd and the field is on the right soon before the town line that says st George. There are some trees along the road with an open space beyond. There is a big field across the street.
