Subject: [Maine-birds] No surfbird at Biddeford pool but GREAT Snowy!!

Joanne Stevens, Pat Sanborn, and I checked around the Biddeford Pool area this morning in hopes of espying the Surfbird - no luck with that bird but we were rewarded with great views of an almost pure white Snowy Owl near us on the rocks along the shore on the right side heading out to Eastern Point.    I finally was able to get some nice photos of a Snowy Owl in flight in a natural setting - not on a light pole or roof - like most of my photos of Snowies!!  And for it to be such a mature bird was an extra bonus.  One BEAUTIFUL BIRD he is !!!

I posted some of my shots on my Flickr account if you are interested in taking a peek at this magnificent bird!
