[Maine-birds] Ring-necks in bigger numbers - Orland, Hancock Cty

Hey all -- 45 Ring-necks today (morning and afternoon) on the now open waters of the Naramissic River, Rte 1 in Orland. Best viewing is from the dead-end short road that runs north of Rte 1 immediately after crossing over to the west (Bucksport) side of the river. That road has no traffic and ends in a muddy but passable cul de sac.

Also present: 4 Hoodies, 3 Common Goldeneye, 7 Mallards and a few Am. Black Ducks.

Best,
Craig K
