[Maine-birds] Webber Pond, Bremen

the snow/rain stirred up some of the birds--the mallards were in and out--and there were some treats--a hawk swept though chased by crows --it was going too fast for me to identify it--a cardinal pair stopped by the feeder--I've been hearing them but hadn't seen them for a few months--a red breasted nuthatch has been in and out, the goldfinches are turning gold, and an immature eagle flew in across the pond (low and slow).  The usual mix of other birds was around too--redwinged blackbird numbers are way up though the pond is still frozen.
