[Maine-birds] Northern Shrike in Unity

This morning a very vocal adult shrike was hanging out on Quaker Hill Rd at the intersection of Mussey Rd.  This location is just uphill from Unity College.  It was chasing and harassing starlings, doves, and a Hairy Woodpecker (!).  Hope it sticks around for next week's Christmas Bird count.  We still need help for the CBC if you are free next Saturday.....

Good birding,
tom
