Funny, I was there just before you, and just saw 4 common Goldeneye! Usually the red wings are not to my yard until March 20. (I live in North Belgrade.)

I arrived at Messalonskee Marsh this afternoon (at 3:50) and scanned the south end of the lake from the old boat launch on Route 27. From my vantage point, I observed Canada geese (5) and Common Goldeneye (7) in the open water where Belgrade Stream empties into the lake. The launch was otherwise quiet... until I returned to my car to leave. While filling out my eBird report in my car, I heard the "conk-la-ree" song of a single Red-winged Blackbird. Setting back out, I observed a handful of RWBL grouped in the trees along the shoreline. For the next thirty minutes, a steady pulse of Red-winged Blackbirds (45), Common Grackle (12), and a single Rusty Blackbird moved into the area from the south and out to the north. As I left (at 5:00), additional icterids were still moving through the area.
