[Maine-birds] Webber Pond, Bremen

Thursday brought two FOYs  --a song sparrow and the woodcock---
have had four hooded mergansers swimming by--
the mallard pair comes in daily (before storms a larger group of mallards arrives--)
the red-bellied woodpecker visited yesterday and the red-breasted nuthatch  is here daily (I'm still surprised)
rwblackbirds and grackles are regulars as are the goldfinches and the usual listings

No loons yet--should we be be worried?
