[Maine-birds] Woodcock display at new SLT property

The recently purchased Scarborough Land Trust property, Pleasant Hill Preserve (formerly known as Benjamin Farm), has numerous woodcock displaying. Jim and  I went over at dusk last night and there were two peenting right next to the small parking lot. As we walked farther down the mowed path (the land trust asks that visitors stay on this trail as there is a lot of farm machinery debris  still in the field)  we heard birds displaying all around us.

Pleasant Hill Preserve is located very close to the T- intersection of Fogg Rd and Pleasant Hill Road in Scarborough.
