[Maine-birds] York/Cumberland County sightings (Apr 13-19)...

Here are some bird happenings from around York and Cumberland County:

4/13 (Wednesday)
...Field Sparrow (FOY) at powerline cut on Webber Hill Rd., Kennebunk
...6 Palm Warblers, 2 Field Sparrows, 2 Vesper Sparrows (FOY), 3 Savannah Sparrows, and 2 Eastern Meadowlarks at Kennebunk Plains (dirt loop north of Rt. 99)
...Northern Shoveler (drake), Northern Harrier (adult male), and 2 Louisiana Waterthrush (FOY; along Mousam River) at Sanford Lagoons

4/14 (Thursday)
...Louisiana Waterthrush singing along the Merriland River, Coles Hills Rd., Wells
...2 Greater Yellowlegs (FOY) and 2 Fish Crows along Harbor Rd., Wells

4/15 (Friday)
...Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (FOY) at Emmons Preserve, Kennebunkport
...Barn Swallow (FOY) and 8 Tree Swallows at Lord's Pond, Biddeford

4/17 (Sunday)
...6+ Sharp-shinned Hawks (FOY) and 20+ Broad-winged Hawks (FOY) along with many other raptors at Bradbury Mountain State Park (hawk watch), Pownal [thanks to Anna Stunkel and numerous others who helped with spotting and identification]
...2 Great Horned Owls (adult and owlet) at Evergreen Cemetery, Portland [previously reported by many]
...2 American Oystercatchers (FOY) near mouth of Nonesuch River from Pine Point, Scarborough

4/18 (Monday)
...12+ Bohemian Waxwings in Crab Apple tree on Baribeau Dr. near Peary Dr., Brunswick [thanks to Mike Resch]
