A vesper sparrow picking grit/seed from a roadside near Samoset golf course. Their nearest breeding territory that I know of is on Clarry Hill in Union. There may be others at various barrens in the mid-coast. Things remain slow at Weskeag. This morning a single greater yellowlegs; 25 green-winged teal; a pair of kestrels; swamp sparrows and great blue herons.Don--
