[Maine-birds] Re: Hooded Warbler in Portland

Perhaps this is the appropriate forum to underscore the threat exposed windows pose to birds. They may have the ability to survive the initial concussive forces of the collision well enough to fly away, but like humans, some don't exhibit the dire consequences of a closed head injury until after a short time.
If there is any way to cover your windows, or make them more visible please consider it.
