[Maine-birds] Seal Island NWR Sightings 5/6

Hi all,

Weather has not been great for migration recently but, today we have had a couple of interesting sightings so far. An adult Lesser Black-backed gull was seen roosting with some HERG and GBBG. Not the most common migrant out here (assuming it is a migrant... I know its a long-shot breeder but, one can hope!). In addition we have an exceptionally early Semipalmated Sandpiper! Nearly a week earlier that my first last year which was on May 13th. Photos will be added to an eBird checklist later on today.

Cheers,

Keenan Yakola
