I walked the perimeter of Gilsland Farm (north and south) this morning at low tide (too early, but that was my window of opportunity). No LIEG. Best sighting was 12 Ospreys hovering, calling and feeding in the low-water channel.

From what I recall last year (presumably this is the same bird) it often came in within a few hours after high tide at the North Meadow lookout (I believe that the name, but it's the trail/lookout with the solar panels at the beginning). I would just station myself there perhaps an hour or two before high tide and likely it'll show up within that window.

I am interested in any info on the little egret that has been seen near portland. Ebird says may 1st was the last time it was seen. Are there any more recent reports? Thanks!
