[Maine-birds] Camden and Rockland

Hi,

This early morning, one of the Camden peregrines carried a starling-sized victim to a favorite perch on the clock tower of the Chestnut Street Church in Camden. Minutes later a fast approaching crow dislodged the protesting falcon and chased it for a quarter mile in an effort to snatch its meal. Soon the crow returned to the tower and scored a body portion of the falcon's catch from the rooftop. Finally the falcon returned to finish breakfast and sun itself. At Chickawuakee Lake on RTE 17  in Rockland, 10 ruddy ducks.
