[Maine-birds] Northern Maine Birds: Barnacle Geese, Cackling Geese

Hi All,

I had a little time for to check the geese today, after lunch, and found duos of Barnacle and Cackling Geese at Collins Pond in Caribou.  Got a few digiscoped photos which can be seen here: 


I think these are new arrivals as there was a noticeable increase in Canada Goose movement in the past day.  I expect they'll stick around for a bit and should be hanging with the flock here in the middle of the day.

Another lovely afternoon in the county.
