[Maine-birds] House and Purple Finches and Pine Siskin - Waterville

In the last few days I have seen a big upswing in finches at my feeders - both Purple and House Finches, up to 8 of each at one time (as well as more Goldfinches) and just, now a lone Pine Siskin joined them and the other usual feeder birds. A late Hermit Thrush was here earlier today, too.

A young male Red-bellied Woodpecker has been coming the last few days as well - I had not had one at my feeders in Waterville since May of 2013.

Now, if only, some of the Evening Grosbeaks would just join them!
